Many Folks Lovingly Call Me: "Ms. PAM"
I am the Elder of Holystic Wellness who shares guidance, knowledge, and love for balanced living. With a foundation of faith, I coach clients from the African Diaspora about the care and growth of their mind, body, and soul. Even when I surrendered my life to the LORD, it took me several years to honor the blessing of my voice as coach, artist, and teacher. In 2014, my family developed ReignBow ReNEWed, to share community ministry. The biggest lesson is how GOD uses the least likely people to continue His work. We incorporated as a fellowship, ReignBow ReNEWed LIFE Center.
Our commitment is to increase wellness with a kind-hearted approach of love, inspiration, faith, and education.
To guide and teach our community towards balanced living using Principles of the Motherland with the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.
We offer and focus on activities, goods, and services that cultivate growth in our diverse communities.
I am an advocate and coach for "holystic" wellness because of my personal and professional experiences. As the only child of Ralph and Carolyn Smith, I was born with a comprehensive, medical history. It includes cancer, cardiovascular and circulatory challenges, high cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, and kidney disease. If Mom and Dad had not shown me strong faith and unconditional love, I would fear this history.
Growing up, my family relied on doctor's instructions, prescribed and OTC medicines, plus down-home remedies. After all, they never abandoned their deep, North Carolina roots, which raised me. I remember my 2nd Mom (Aunt Mary) used a book, Back to Eden, to remedy many issues. I always thought that book was so cool, so she planted a seed. It grew a hunger for more knowledge. Over the years, the medical challenges appeared along with an intense passion to heal naturally.
I became the "lay doctor" for my family. I guess 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry, plus many years of traditional and online research transformed my mindset about health and wellness. In fact, I went "Back to Eden" for my irregular menstruation. Doctors recommended birth control pills, but I didn't like the side effects. I took a chance on my own body and went the natural route (black cohosh). Guess what? It worked!
So I'm the health advocate for my family, and my pursuit for expertise began with training as a wellness coach in 2008. Discovering the balance of mind, body, and soul, became my personal and professional mission. My business is ministry, and it focuses on "holystic" wellness, because everything comes from a faith foundation. Diverse challenges and opportunities are on this journey, but our endurance grows each day. I invite you to join the journey with my family.
